Amanda Cox-Edwards continues to support her patients as best she can during this difficult period.
At Upwey Acupuncture every person that comes to us for treatment is seen as a unique case. We utilise acupuncture combined with Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) diagnosis techniques to create a 360 degree health check. From this we create a tailored treatment plan to give each patient the best and most suitable treatment to improve their health issue.
Cupping, massage and more
Our treatments are more than just needles – we often combine acupuncture with other TCM techniques such as massage, acupressure, cupping, Chinese herbal medicine, moxibustion, heat therapy, guasha, and dietary and lifestyle advice. It is our aim to create the perfect and most appropriate combination of these therapies for each case that we see.
We believe that acupuncture is more than sticking pins locally – it is about looking at all aspects of a person to treat the main complaint, and seeing beyond this to address any underlying issues that have contributed to the condition arising.
One on one treatment
In contrast to many other acupuncturists who will treat more than one patient at a time across different rooms, our acupuncturist Amanda Cox-Edwards treats one person at a time. This means you will receive the full benefit of her undivided attention during your session. However, you will have the opportunity to relax alone during your session if you wish.
Amanda strives to be gentle, sympathetic and intuitive in the way that she treats, combining this with years of training and clinical practice.
